v1.12

Improved
Sharper dashboard, fairer moderation, reminders in your DMs.
- New "Recent issues" panel on the dashboard shows the latest errors BestieBot hit in your server — the same log a Status Alert points you to.
- Moderators' timeouts, kicks, and bans now DM the member a short notice (like warnings already did), so people know what happened and why.
- The dashboard now updates in real time over a live connection — command counts, AI activity, and member changes appear the moment they happen instead of on a timer.
- Reminders are now private by default — `/remind_quick` DMs you when it's due. Want others to see it? Just pick a channel. (If your DMs are closed, it falls back to a channel so it's never lost.)
- Reminder notifications got a polished Components V2 redesign — a clean card with the bot's avatar, your reminder front and center, and real "due" / "set" timestamps instead of a vague "Set today".
- Tidied up duplicate commands: dropped the redundant `/reminders` and `/vc` (use `/remind_list` and `/vc_create`), and folded calendar-style `/remind` (a specific date & time) into the main reminders feature so there's one place for everything.
- @mention BestieBot in ANY channel to talk to it — you no longer have to flag the channel with /ai_channel first. (AI channels still respond to every message; everywhere else, just @mention.) Respects the server's AI master switch.
- Play music by just asking: "@BestieBot play Bohemian Rhapsody" hops into your voice channel and plays it, and "queue up some lo-fi" adds to the line — all in plain English, no slash command needed.
- Full hands-free music control by @mention too — "pause", "resume", "skip", "stop", and "what's in the queue?" all work conversationally.
- Just @mention BestieBot to set a reminder in plain English — "@BestieBot remind me in 5 minutes to take out the trash" now sets it and DMs you privately. Didn't say when? It'll ask before scheduling. Want the whole channel pinged instead? Just say so.
- Setting a private reminder by @mention now stays private and tidy — BestieBot confirms it in your DMs (on a polished new card) and removes your original message so it doesn't clutter the channel. (Needs the Manage Messages permission to clean up; if your DMs are closed it just confirms in-channel instead.)
- BestieBot now understands real calendar times for reminders — "remind me Friday at 5pm", "tomorrow at 9am", or "Dec 25 at noon" all work, not just "in 2 hours". It knows the current time and won't accept a time that's already passed.
- Recurring reminders: ask for one "every day", "every hour", or "every week" and BestieBot keeps it going — the card even shows when the next one lands.
- Manage reminders by just talking to BestieBot: "what reminders do I have?" lists them, and "cancel my trash reminder" (or "cancel all") clears them — it'll ask which one if there's any doubt.
- The Stripe "Manage" billing button is more reliable — we now remember your Stripe customer at checkout instead of looking it up each time.

Improved
Privacy settings that actually do something.
- Every toggle on the Settings → Data & Privacy page now changes how the bot behaves — they're no longer just for show.
- Usage Analytics and Activity Logging gate exactly what they say: turn them off and the bot stops counting commands and logging joins/leaves for that server.
- AI Conversation History: switch it off and the AI replies fresh every time, with nothing remembered between messages.
- Error Reporting now feeds a real per-server error log, and the dashboard's error count reflects it.
- New Status Alerts toggle — opt in to have BestieBot DM the server owner when it hits an error (rate-limited so it never spams).
- Reorganized the Settings page into a clean, single-column layout with logical groups — AI Preferences, Data & Privacy, Diagnostics & Alerts, then the Danger Zone — so everything reads top to bottom like a real settings page.
- When AI is off, the dashboard no longer mentions it — no AI tiles, stats, or prompts nudging you to turn it on. Off means off.
- Your profile card now shows your real numbers: badges are earned from your own command and AI usage (not the bot's global totals), and Commands/AI Chats/Servers reflect your lifetime account stats. Tidied the badge row, dropped the day-one "streak", and gave the badge hover tooltips a proper on-brand look instead of the plain browser ones.
- The Subscription section now only shows the Stripe "Manage" button when your premium is actually billed through Stripe. Servers on a redeemed code or a direct grant see a clear "Premium is active" note instead of a button that led nowhere.
